Kindergarten Magazine was a monthly publication for parents and teachers to aid in the development of children with an emphasis on Froebelian ideas. Educators provided advice and classroom ideas such as songs, poems, and gift and occupation sequences. The magazine also included notes from various educational conferences and conventions, as well as editorials.
Contributors include Elizabeth Harrison and Edna Dean Baker, former presidents of what is known today as National Louis University. Also includes contributions from educational leaders such as Alice Putnam, Kate Douglas Wiggin, and John Dewey, among others.
