The National Louis University Alumni Publication collection spans all former iterations of NLU, including the Chicago Kindergarten College, the National Kindergarten College, the National Kindergarten and Elementary College and the National College of Education. The collection dates back 1900, when the Chicago Kindergarten College's Alumnae Association published a newsletter titled the Alumnae Annual.. In 1905, the Alumnae Association began regular publication of Alumnae News, and in 1910, the Kindergarten Journal, where Elizabeth Harrison and Edna Dean Baker served as editorial staff, among others. In 1922, a new alumnae publication, Our Guidon, focused on the "Builder's Fund", appealing to alumnae and friends of the National Kindergarten and Elementary College to raise fund for the new campus in Evanston, IL. (built in 1925-1926). Our Guidon was published until Spring 1950.
