Abstract

The intent of this project was to evaluate iPad implementation at Wentworth High School (a pseudonym) to determine if the one-to-one iPad to student ratio is supporting student achievement and creating an enriching learning environment in Language Arts. I believe an evaluation of iPad integration in the design of the Language Arts curriculum has research implications for incorporating iPad integration in all other subject areas as well. Another purpose for conducting this program evaluation was to identify promising iPad innovative approaches that support facilitating student-centered instruction through one to one learning in the classroom. This evaluation promises to increase the understanding of the impact and future potential of iPad integration instructional practices on student achievement.
